Blog #9 The weather

The Weather to love or hate

Blog #9

Even though I love this state and the experiences I've had here, what I have always hated and always will hate is the summer days. It might sound funny to hate the heat and say that I still like this place being that its name literally comes from the Greek mythology bird called the Phoenix bird because of the excessive heat we have here but hear me out. Now that we are having colder days my levels of joy and pressure are on a daily peak. I have always love the cold and the feelings you get; yes I am talking about the pains too! But people like my dad hate these days and he finds them dreadful. His excuse is that cloudy days hurt his eyes and that the cold bring pains from his fracture bones. I find that those valid excuses.

Snow in Az is almost nonexistent
For me the cold gives me more time to be creative and the environment to express myself. I believe the cold always allows for people to be more open. It could be because the shorter days cause one to be more open and do the things the have to do now knowing that you only have a set time before the sun calls it quits is a feeling that can be stressing to some but the most peaceful moment to others. Now if I compare myself when it is hot outside; I get a frustrated going outside and I feel limited to only being able to go outside in the early morning or late in the afternoon. If I ever do go out mid-day then I have to set a whole routine for me to avoid getting sweaty or getting frustrated from the annoying heat. Phoenix heat for me is the most irritating thing. It is something you can't not avoid without some type of air conditioner.

I will probably never leave Phoenix for its multiple beauty's and the people but the heat will always be my biggest displeasure about living here. It is all a preference thing to most and a enjoyment that should not be judged whether you like the heat or the cold. Now my question to you guys is do you like the cold or the heat? Maybe I will change side with the right example.

Blog #8 Why do people hate pineapple on pizza so much?

Why do people hate pineapple on pizza so much?

Blog #8

I have always liked pineapple on pizza; I think it has a pleasuring taste. I have always ate pineapple on pizza as far as I can remember but that has always put me in situations where my Friends either like me or hate me for that. I just have not came to the conclusion on why it has blown up as a debate.
Answering this to me is confusing because it is not the same discussions like when people like olives or bell pepper on a pizza.

I spent a few minutes looking for reason why some hate pineapple on pizza and all I found was people hate it for the idea of putting a fruit on a pizza or people don't like a sweet taste on a sour pizza. Even with the time I spent researching the why I still didn't get a complete answer. Now I think that is a even bizarre idea.

The concept that there is people that have bigger hate for a fruit on a pizza than a fish on a pizza is funny. If you like it with anything then enjoy it and explore your taste buds. If your friends like diffident topping then let them taste them and if both of y'all can't agree on a set topping just a pain pepperoni pizza does justice.

other than than enjoy the time with the people you love.

Blog #3 Social media's mentality

Social media's mentality
Blog #3

The two episodes was interesting to hear how they relate there personal life with there social life and how it truly effects them. It got me captivated that the timing of there likes matters to them. How they actually cared how much there peers mattered to them.  I related with the girls how it mattered to them how people commented and how to comment on peoples posts. Like how one girl put it " sexy and hot are different", I related to that part because I know there is a difference of words when commenting to people post and how each word has the same meaning.

This podcasts does offer a relationship to our society now in days because for mostly every one staying or being popular is very important. The people around you tend to judge and level the importance you are to them because from your social status. In-turn it is very degrading for the individual person when something negative happens to you. It has become a epidemic issue that kids are harming or  being harmed by other in social media because of there social level.

Blog #7 Food in Phoenix

Food in Phoenix
Blog #7

The open air market was founded by Cindy Gentry in 2005. It has been continuously open every Saturday for the last 5 years. They mostly sell fresh vegetables and Meats. They also offer other organic products like Home remedies and natural options for your pets.

This is the usual view every Saturday

I think this is great concept for people and farmers to connect and provide the best organic and fresh products to consume in the Phoenix area. I thought it was a good idea to share this market because we discussed on how people consume food and how we can make better choices for a better future. These are the individuals that are actually thinking and are doing what's best for the people, the community, and the environment. I found this market on the route to pick up my sister from school and I decided to walk in to explore. I found a group of super nice people with mutual mentality to make fresh products for the Phoenix districts. It is great that even as hot Phoenix can get we still grow and offer natural alternative options!

Hope that you go and explore this place your self!
